Acetone is an organic clear, colorless liquid with a sweet, aromatic odor that is well suited for consumer and industrial uses. It is used to produce a variety of intermediates and non-reactive solvents like methacrylates, ketones and bisphenol A. Acetone can also be used to vitamins, pharmaceuticals, photographic film, printing inks, paints and varnishes.
