It is primarily used in industrial coatings, household cleaners, inks, paints, paint removers, paint thinners, pharmaceutical preparations, sealants, primer and pesticides. Diacetone Alcohol is also used as a chemical intermediate in the preparation of Methyl Isobutyl Ketone and Hexylene Glycol.
