DOWSIL™ 9011 Silicone Elastomer Blend is a 13% dispersion of high molecular-weight silicone elastomer substituted with polyether in XIAMETER® PMX-0245 Cyclopentasiloxane. It is a proprietary material designed specifically to prepare water-in- silicone emulsions and multiple emulsions (i.e. water-in-silicone in water), with improved aesthetics. It is for use in water-in-silicone emulsions with excellent stability, manufacturing flexibility, formulation flexibility, and aesthetics, delivery systems for both non-polar and polar ingredients, multiple emulsion (water-in-cyclopentasiloxane in water) delivery systems containing oil-soluble, water-sensitive ingredients, such as vitamins. It can be used in a wide range of Personal Care applications such as: color cosmetics, skin-care, sun-care and antiperspirants and deodorants.
