CAB-O-SIL® PTG (polyester thickening grade) fumed silica is a medium surface area untreated fumed silica that is suitable for use in the thickening of unsaturated polyester resins. It enables thickening, thixotropic (shear-thinning) and anti-settling behavior. Key characteristics include high purity, aggregated structure, submicron particle size, low bulk density and hydrophilic surface chemistry.
