DOWSIL™ 2-1912 Fluid is a blend of polydimethylsiloxane and high molecular weight silicone resin. Reactive silicone fluids used for silica treatment. Suitable as a release agent for plastics, adhesives and elastomeric products. Active ingredient in automotive polish preparations. In Textiles and Fibers, as additive, combined with fluoride chemicals can improve thread yarn water repellency. It also can be used for Pulp antifoam formulation.
