DOWSIL™ RSN-0808 Resin is a medium-soft, silanol-functional silicone resin binder, optimized for crafting heat-resistant maintenance paints and colored baking enamels. This resin is particularly recommended for decorative finishes on appliances like space heaters, incinerators, clothes dryers, and stoves, where excellent color and gloss retention are essential up to 540°C. Additionally, it serves well in protective coatings for outdoor signs, motor frames, air conditioning units, and more, offering superior weather resistance and the ability to withstand baking at elevated temperatures. For aluminum paints, DOWSIL™ RSN-0808 Resin ensures serviceability up to 650°C, especially when blended with DOWSIL™ RSN-0840 Resin for enhanced hardness.
