Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) is a clear, colorless liquid with a mild odor. It is a VOC-exempt solvent that is considered a green reagent and used in a wide range of applications. Dimethyl Carbonate is used in the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries, production of polycarbonates, lubricants, polyurethanes, cleaning and degreasing solvents, construction materials such as paints and adhesives, fuel additives, and in biodiesel production.
