2-Ethylhexylamine is a colorless liquid with an ammonia-like odor. It is a primary C8 monoalkylamine and versatile intermediate that is used in a wide variety of applications such as fuel additives, rubber additives and coatings and paints additives. 2-Ethylhexylamine is also utilized as a corrosion inhibitor in the oil and gas industry and as a catalyst in the production of resins and coatings.
