Isopropanol or isopropyl alcohol (IPA) is a clear, colorless, volatile material with a mild odor and a relatively low toxicity compared to alternate solvents. These characteristics allow its use for a variety of applications. IPA is miscible in water, alcohol, and most organic solvents. Isopropyl alcohol is the most common and widely used disinfectant within hospitals, cleanrooms, electronics and medical device manufacturing. This 70% solution is slightly better for disinfecting since the additional water content allows for slower dissolving and better penetration into cells to kill bacteria. If your business is affiliated with the cannabis/CBD/hemp industry, we will need to further review your purchase for approval.
