Texanol™ ester alcohol is the premier coalescent for latex paints. It is a colorless liquid with a slight odor that performs well in all types of latex paints in a variety of weather conditions. Texanol™ also works well in a variety of other applications such as oil drilling muds, wood preservative carriers, printing inks and coatings and is an ideal choice as a retarder solvent for use in coil coatings and high-bake enamels and also enhances thickening efficiency when used with associative thickeners.
