TRIS AMINO® ULTRA PC is a globally compliant tromethamine buffer for personal care and cosmetic products. It is used as a pH adjuster and fragrance ingredient being used for its buffering and masking properties and is more efficient than TEA for developing alkaline pH and neutralizing acid-functional ingredients. TRIS AMINO ULTRA PC is known for its mildness (especially in leave ons) and is a preferred buffer for personal care and cosmetic products, offering the following attributres: slubility in water as well as alcohol, low odor, and high purity. TRIS AMINO ULTRA PC is a pharmacopoeia listed, non yellowing, fatty acid emulsion stability and rheology modifier stabilizer that is suitable for buffering in the mildly alkaline range (pH 7 to 9). It is compliant as of May 2015 with European Union rulings on purity, secondary amine and nitrosamine content of raw materials used in the manufacture of cosmetics and personal care products.It has unmatched safety in the manufacturing end use of personal care products with the following certifications and qualificatoins: China Food and Drug Administration “Safety and Technical Standards for Cosmetics” compliant, 2008 ASEAN Cosmetic Directive compliant, CTFA, including listing in USA and Japan (Tromethamine), ISO 9000:2000 certified, Kosher and Halal compliant.
