Organic certified essential oil, highly fragranced for multiple end applications including; Aromatherapy, Fragrance, Beauty & Personal Care as well as Household and Industrial Cleaning. Native to India, black pepper was one of the most precious spices used during the middle ages in Europe. The essential oil is obtained by the steam distillation of dried berries/peppercorns of Piper nigrum. It has a colorless to pale/greenish yellow color and warm, peppery, slightly-sweet and spicy notes. The spiciness of black pepper is due to the chemical piperine. The aroma of black pepper is spicy, musky, warm, and of course peppery!
