Calcium Chloride Solution is a solution used to improve the mineral content of brewing water and to improve brewing quality. It does this by improving extract yield and fermentability, improving enzyme activity and reducing extraction of undesirable silicates, tannins and polyphenols, amongst other uses such as de-icing and freeze-point depression. This product is anhydrous, hygroscopic and deliquescent.
