Our gritting salt is particularly pure and effective mixture of fine and coarse salt crystals. While fine crystals ensure an immediate thawing effect, larger crystals ensure the required long-term thawing effect on thicker layers of ice and snow. Our salt comes from rock salt deposits that were formed about 230 million years ago as a result of the evaporation of the earlier seas and are characterized by their special purity. Consistent quality over a season is essential for smooth winter clearance and safe roads.
