Balsam Copaiba Organic is a natural oleoresin obtained from the trunk of the Copaiba tree (Copaifera officinalis, Copaifera reticulata, Copaifera langsdorffii and related species), sustainably harvested from tropical forests in South America, primarily Brazil.Unlike most vegetable oils, Copaiba Balsam is a naturally occurring oleoresin rich in sesquiterpenes, particularly β-caryophyllene, which contributes to its soothing, purifying, and skin-conditioning properties. The material has a characteristic warm, woody, balsamic aroma and is widely used in natural cosmetics, aromatherapy, and personal care products.Organic Copaiba Balsam is especially valued in clean beauty formulations due to its natural origin, sustainability story, and multifunctional cosmetic benefits.
