Dimethylaminopropylamine (DMAPA) is a clear, essentially colorless liquid with a typical amine order. It is completely miscible with water, alcohols, esters, ketones and other organic solvents. Dimethylaminopropylamine can be used in the products of surfactants, water treatment chemicals, corrosion inhibitors, ion exchange resins, polyurethane catalysts, epoxy resin hardeners, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, gasoline and motor additives, lubricating oil additives and paper and photographic adjuvants.
