Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) is an excellent general purpose non-orthophtalate plasticizer that can be used in a wide range of applications as an alternative to ortho-phthalates. It is primarily used to plasticize vinyl resin and is compatible with with both homopolymer and copolymer vinyl resins. Dioctyl Terephthalate (DOTP) offers many key benefits such as good performance properties, excellent low temperature flexibility, excellent non-migration properties and low volatility which make it a favorable component in many formulations.
