DOWSIL™ FA 4003 DM SILICONE ACRYLATE
DOWSIL™ FA 4003 DM Silicone Acrylate is a silicone acrylate film-forming ingredient for personal care and cosmetic formulations, supplied as approximately 40% acrylates/polytrimethylsiloxymethacrylate copolymer in 2 cSt dimethicone. After the dimethicone evaporates, the high-molecular-weight silicone acrylate copolymer forms a flexible, high-integrity film on the skin, helping provide water resistance, sebum resistance and rub-off resistance. It delivers a smooth, slippery sensory profile and can provide SPF-boosting functionality in sun care formulations. Recommended application areas include skin care, sun care, color cosmetics and hair care.
