Tall Oils
Tall oil fatty acids (or liquid rosin) are typically derived from crude tall oil (CTO) which is a byproduct of the Kraft Sulfate Paper Process. They are used in raw form or to synthesize a variety of products such as soaps, paints, and plasticizers. Univar offers low sulfur tall oil fatty acid that is designed specifically for the fuel segment as a diesel fuel additive.
