The Lexol IMP-NF is colorless and odorless, allowing for processing in a wide range of clear applications. It offers low viscosity, outstanding spreading properties, and can offer solvency in high emollient formulations. Lexol® IPM-NF is soluble in acetone, castor oil, ethanol, heptane, and isopropanol.

This ethoxylate is made using Sasol North America Inc.’s patented NOVEL® catalyst technology, which yields products with lower free alcohol and PEG levels when compared to the traditional base-catalyzed methods. It is essentially 100% active and has the following structural formula: CH3(CH2)xCH2(OCH2CH2)4.5OH where ‘x’ varies between 6 and 8.
