Recommended Use
  • XIAMETERTM ACP-1500 Antifoam Compound can be used in non-aqueous systems
  • neat or dispersed in solvent. If diluted
  • it should be used within 8 to 12 hours. Some separation may occur
  • but stirring reconstitutes the dispersion. The product may also be mechanically dispersed with one of the foaming system ingredients. This antifoam can be added to the foaming medium:
  • On a continuous basis using a suitable metering pump or similar type of equipment capable of pumping high viscosity liquids
  • On a shot-injection basis
  • i.e.
  • on demand
  • By wiping on filling nozzles
  • rims of processing vats or by smearing on screens or wire gauzes suspended over the surface of the foaming system
  • Recommended starting concentration is 10 ppm.
