DOWSIL™ 8024 Food Contact Release Emulsion , Food Grade
DOWSIL™ 8024 Food Contact Release Emulsion is a water-based silicone release agent formulated with polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) and approximately 40% solid/active content. It is designed for release applications involving plastics and rubbers, including food-packaging containers, and can also provide anti-stick performance for plastic sheet and de-nesting of thermoformed food trays and containers. The emulsion is water-compatible and can be diluted with water to suit the application; Dow identifies typical diluted concentrations of 1 to 5% solids.
