GLYCOS® Clear 70
GLYCOS® Clear 70 is a premium‑grade glycolic acid (hydroxyacetic acid, CAS 79‑14‑1) from CABB, supplied as a water‑soluble clear liquid with a total acid content of 70.0–72.0% (w/w). Glycolic acid is an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) used in skin‑ and hair‑care formulations, where it acts as a gentle chemical exfoliant that promotes surface‑level cell renewal; the factsheet also reports effects on collagen synthesis, skin hyaluronic‑acid levels, and elastic‑fiber quality, and, in hair care, penetration of the cuticle to help repair keratin crosslinks. It is produced via a proprietary synthesis route that avoids the impurity methoxyacetic acid (MAA) and is free from nanomaterials, sulfates, solvents, preservatives and antioxidants.
