3-Methoxypropylamine is a colorless to yellow liquid with an amine-like odor that is miscible in water and most common organic solvents. It is a high capacity, neutralizing amine that is used mostly as a corrosion inhibitor in oilfield and water treatment applications. 3-Methoxypropylamine can also be used in the production of pharma intermediates, metalworking fluids, waxes and coatings.
