DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate
DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate is a versatile, methoxy-functional silicone resin designed to enhance the performance of coatings and finishes. This solventless, liquid resin is primarily used to react with organic resins, improving weatherability, or with other silicone resins to reduce VOCs and increase flexibility. Its compatibility with a range of organic resins, including polyesters, alkyds, epoxies, and acrylics, makes it an ideal choice for creating silicone polyester copolymers used in coil coatings, appliance finishes, and high-temperature finishes. Additionally, DOWSIL™ 3037 Intermediate can be cold-blended with other silicone resins to minimize solvent requirements in high-temperature coating formulations.
