Emulsense™ HC is a 100% natural quat-free cationic hair care system based on amino lipid technology. It is derived solely from fermentation and plant materials using sustainable green chemistry principals. Its composition is ~20% conditioning active (natural cationic amino lipid) combined with Brassica Alcohol to form a complete lamellar liquid crystal emulsification package. Emulsense™ HC can be used as the primary anti-static conditioning agent and emulsifier in conditioner formulas. Due to the unique C18-C22 brassica c-chain distribution, it has conditioning performance similar to classic behenyl quats used widely in personal care products. Emulsense™ HC contains 100% biobased content as certified by the USDA BioPreferred® Program, is COSMOS and ECOCERT approved, and is approved for use in NSF/ANSI 305 certified personal care products. The quat-free technology is readily biodegradable, non-toxic to aquatic life, and is non-irritating to skin or eyes.
