ALKEST® TW 20 K is a polyoxyethylene sorbitan monolaurate, a nonionic surfactant widely used in beauty and personal care formulations. This yellowish clear liquid functions as a solubilizer, dispersant, humectant, and emulsifier with an HLB of 16.7. It is derived from plant-based sources including palm kernel oil and corn, combined with synthetic ethylene oxide.
