DOWFROST™ HD 40% Heat Transfer Fluid is a premium, inhibited propylene glycol-based fluid, designed to provide reliable heat transfer and freeze protection. Its formulation includes 94.0 percent propylene glycol and a special package of industrial corrosion inhibitors, dyed fluorescent yellow-green for easy leak detection. This product is engineered to offer freeze protection below -50°C (-60°F) and burst protection below -73°C (-100°F), making it an ideal solution for a wide range of heating and cooling applications. DOWFROST™ HD is distinguished by its use of DOW PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP, ensuring a purity greater than 99.8% and offering superior performance and safety compared to competitor products.
