DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin
DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin is a high-performance, silanol-functional silicone resin designed for use in a variety of coatings applications. This solvent-borne resin is supplied as a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid with a toluene odor, offering excellent leafing properties and water resistance. It is particularly effective in formulations requiring very good gloss retention and can withstand extremely high temperatures over short periods. DOWSIL™ RSN-0804 Resin is ideal for maintenance paints, colored baking enamels, and decorative finishes, as well as an additive to improve paint flow-out. Its hard, rigid structure improves the heat stability and weatherability of many organic resins, making it a versatile choice for high-temperature coatings.
