Eka Sodium Chlorate, Technical Grade, Crystal, 2205 lb SuperSack
Eka® SC (sodium chlorate) is essential to environmentally compatible paper pulp bleaching. It is the functional ingredient in the generation of chlorine dioxide, which, in turn, is the main component in ECF (Elemental Chlorine-Free) bleaching. Up to 95 percent of all sodium chlorate produced worldwide is consumed by the pulp industry. Its second most common use is by the chemical industry where it is used as a precursor in the production of sodium and ammonium perchlorate and sodium chlorite. Sodium chlorate and sodium chlorite are the common precursors to chlorine dioxide, which is used in many water treatment applications.
