Isobutyl Isobutyrate is a clear, colorless liquid with a sweet odor. As a retarder solvent it is used in polyurethane coatings, nitrocellulose lacquers and commercial printing inks. It is a slow-evaporating solvent with good blush resistance, high electrical resistance and low water miscibility. Isobutyl Isobutyrate is considered to be an economical, urethane grade solvent that is preferred in a wide variety of applications.
