Isopar H™ is a colorless, virtually odorless synthetic isoparaffinic hydrocarbon solvent that is used extensively in personal care applications in addition to manufacturing process solvent, metal working, agricultural chemical formulations, polymers processing, cleaning agents
and coatings. This product is used extensively as a viscosity-reducing agent and has great spreadability properties. Other key features include narrow distillation range, low toxicity and extensive compatability with most non-polar ingredients used in personal care. Isopar H™ contains extremely low levels of impurities such as benzene, sulfur and heavy metals and is soluble in cosmetic esters, natural oils and silicones. Overall it provides ease of formulation for an array of products.
