Isophorone (IPHO) is a colorless to yellow liquid with a pungent odor that is classified as an unsaturated cyclic ketone and is used as an intermediate in many chemical processes. It is used as an industrial solvent in some coatings, printing inks, paints, lacquers and adhesives and many end markets such as agrochemicals, fine chemistry, epoxy systems, isocyanates.
