Lexol® GT-865 MB
Lexol® GT-865 MB is a medium chain triglyceride (predominantly C8). It is a highly refined liquid emollient, having solvent properties, excellent stability, and emolliency. In creams and lotions it functions as both an emollient and emulsion stability enhancer. Its low viscosity, freezing point, and cloud point make it an ideal vehicle for bath oils and pre-shave lotions. It is also the emollient of choice in lipsticks and other color cosmetics and a powerful solvent for perfume ingredients, particularly crystalline materials, such as coumarin, heliotropine, and synthetic musks. Lexol® GT-865 MB (Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride) contains 100% biobased content as certified by the USDA BioPreferred® Program and is listed in the China FDA IECIC inventory.
