HyQual 2257 Magnesium Stearate from Mallinckrodt is NF/ EP/ BP/ JP/ ChP/ FCC grade. It is Mallinckrodt's most frequently used product for pharmaceutical applications. HyQual 5712 provides a slightly smaller particle size. Mallinckrodt magnesium stearates are true monohydrate compounds that experience a high success rate in preventing capping, lamination, pitting, and sticking. It is a palm based product that uses fatty acids derived from RSPO Mass Balance palm oil.
