Order Intake Changes




Univar Solutions is strategically differentiating our business divisions to sharpen focus and enhance tailored and specialized expertise to serve our customers and key markets. We are introducing a dedicated order intake and payment process for the Ingredients + Specialties (I+S) division. Watch your email for more details regarding this transition, which will be shared 60 and 30 days prior to your specific transition date.

In the meantime, please review the highlights of this change below, which should assist with any system or process preparation work that may be required. Your Univar Solutions account manager is also standing by to field any questions you may have.

What Is Changing



How to Place Orders

Your new dedicated channel to place I+S orders includes the ability to:

  • Send orders to the new intake inbox.
  • Call the dedicated I+S line.
  • Contact your dedicated Customer Account Partner.
Portal Customers: Please issue POs for each division’s products separately, using the existing Univar Solutions account.

Use updated payment details for Univar Solutions I+S orders:

Univar Solutions USA, LLC, Bank of America, N.A. Banking Update Forms Please email any banking update forms your company requires to [email protected] for processing.


Online Ordering

Prefer to order directly online? You can place new orders online for all products. From this experience you can also view your pricing and view past orders, and view invoices.


Documentation

You will receive order-related documents branded by division, including the following:

  • Invoice
  • Order acknowledgement
  • Order change notifications
  • Shipment notifications
  • Price letters

What is Not Changing



  • Legal Entity: The Univar Solutions legal entity that you contract with.
  • Univar Solutions Contacts: There will be no change to your seller.
  • For CD&S Orders: The order, payment process, and banking account information for customers purchasing materials with our CD&S division (non-Ingredients + Specialties products and services)
  • Product Availability: Product chemistry and distribution sites in addition to product codes and descriptions.
  • EDI Customers: Customers using your current setup for EDI based locations-no changes are needed.
