CARBOWAX™ SENTRY™ Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) 400 is a water soluble polymer with excellent solvency for substances that do not readily dissolve in water. It is widely used as an excipient in liquid and semi-solid formulations. CARBOWAX™ SENTRY™ PEG 400 is also an effective plasticizer for coatings in solid oral dose. It is recommended for pharmaceutical, personal care and food contact applications.
