Pentane is colorless liquid with a very mild gasoline-like odor. It is a high purity C5 hydrocarbon solvent used in variety of applications such as catalyst, chemicals, expanded polystyrene (EPS), geothermal, oil sands, polyethylene, polyurethane, and specialty fuels. In addition to being high purity Pentane also offers a very narrow boiling range, low odor and fast evaporation rate.
