Permalyn™ 496-M Synthetic Resin, Technical Grade, 55 lb Bag
Permalyn ™ 496-M is a pale, medium-hard, thermoplastic glycerol ester of resin that is produced by means of a steam stripping process that yields low-odor resin. These properties make Permalyn™ 496-M particularly useful in Hot Melt adhesives, solvent borne adhesives and wax modification.
Additional key properties include: low acidity, low odor, medium softening point, wide solubility (esters, ketones, higher alcohols, glycol ethers, aliphatic hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons and chlorinated hydrocarbons) and compatibility range and provides high tack.
