Sodium Metasilicate
Sodium metasilicate is a chemical substance with the formula Na2SiO3, which is the main component of commercial sodium silicate solutions. Sodium metasilicates offer the convenience of sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide in an easy-to-handle, free-flowing bead. Available in both anhydrous and pentahydrate, sodium metasilicates are used in detergents and cleaning products.
