Petrolatum and white petrolatum are available in multiple viscosity and consistency ranges and are uniquely suitable for your cosmetic, personal care, food, and pharmaceutical formulations. Petrolatums can function as carriers, emollients, lubricants, base ingredients, binders, protective coatings, plasticizers, waterproofing, release agents and softeners. Petrolatums are also recognized by the FDA as an over-the-counter (OTC) “skin protectant”. Through Univar Solutions, Calumet offers Penreco® petrolatums and white petrolatums that meet your highest standards.
