TERGITOL™ L-61 Surfactant
TERGITOL™ L-61 Surfactant is a superior nonionic surfactant known for its effective foam control properties and versatility across a wide range of applications. With its low foam characteristics, high thermal and chemical stability, and inverse water solubility, it serves as an efficient agent in processes requiring minimal foam production. This includes fermentation processes for monosodium glutamate, lactic, and citric acids, as well as in food processing, food washing, water treatment, and metalworking products. Its low surface tension also makes TERGITOL™ L-61 a highly efficient rinse aid and wetting agent in auto dish detergents, industrial and institutional cleaning, and Clean-In-Place (CIP) applications for food, dairy, and brewery sectors. Additionally, it is suitable for oilfield drilling and production formulations.
