VEEGUM K Magnesium Aluminum Silicate Provides good suspension at low viscosity while having low acid demand and high electrolyte and acid compatibility. This grade is well suited for acidic pH pharmaceutical suspensions and hair care formulas containing conditioning agents. VEEGUM K is a highly purified smectite clay suspension stabilizer, emulsion optimizer and rheology modifier. VEEGUM K also reduces the slippery or sticky feel of gums and polymers, while providing a silky, tack-free feel in topical preparations. It is a Magnesium Alumnium Silicate NF Type IIA.
