LuquaSorb™
LuquaSorb™ is a cross-linked polyacrylic acid, sodium salt, Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) capable of exceptional absorption and retention of up to 500x its own weight in liquid. The LuquaSorb™ line offers non-hazardous, fast-acting SAPs designed to meet the needs for multiple end-uses and applications.
Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, and Elastomers (CASE)
- Designed for elastomeric thermoplastic compounds, it is used mostly in a blend with various Monomers to achieve hydro- swelling capabilities.
- It can be used to seal rubber profiles and gaskets.
- LuquaSorb™ can be used for underground power, optical fiber, and copper wire cable applications to protect and block water intrusion into the cable.
- LuquaSorb™ can absorb the water phase from unused latex paint to bind the latex into a mass with minimal expansion in waste.
- It can be used for paint stripping applications, acting as a gelling agent, aiding in debonding of the coating from the substrate.

- LuquaSorb™ can be used in boring and tunneling for sludge solidification.
