Contact Us

Calumet processes crude oil and other feedstocks into customized lubricating oils, solvents, and waxes used in consumer, industrial and automotive products; produces fuel products including gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. Calumet is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, and operates eleven manufacturing facilities located in northwest Louisiana, northern Montana, western Pennsylvania, Texas, New Jersey, and eastern Missouri.

    Penreco® petrolatums and white petrolatums
    Petrolatum and white petrolatum are available in multiple viscosity and consistency ranges and are uniquely suitable for your cosmetic, personal care, food, and pharmaceutical formulations. Petrolatums can function as carriers, emollients, lubricants, base ingredients, binders, protective coatings, plasticizers, waterproofing, release agents and softeners. Petrolatums are also recognized by the FDA as an over-the-counter (OTC) “skin protectant”. Through Univar Solutions, Calumet offers Penreco® petrolatums and white petrolatums that meet your highest standards.

    White Oils
    White mineral oils are among the most versatile petroleum products and are used in a wide variety of applications. Because of their extreme purity, these oils may be employed where only highly refined products are suitable, such as personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food processing. Calumet is vertically integrated for optimal feedstock availability and purity is protected to the destination. Through Univar Solutions, Calumet offers Penreco® white oils that meet your highest standards, whether you need an NF, USP, or technical grade.

    Versastique™
    Versastique by Penreco® is a line of multi-functional solid gels that provide formulators a better way to formulate through simplified creation of functional and aesthetic solid stick applications. The Versastique product line includes translucent and clear stick product bases. These solid gels are an ideal base for a wide range of natural, mineral, and synthetic ingredients. They also offer excellent performance and stability benefits. Versastique can be used in numerous stick product applications, such under eye foundation, topical analgesics, sunscreen, and deodorant.
