ACRYSOL™ Rheology Modifiers
ACRYSOL™ ASE and HASE rheology modifiers are associative thickeners offering a range of performance attributes including leveling, sag resistance and film build.
ACRYSOL™ HEUR rheology modifiers are non-ionic associative thickeners that offer excellent flow and leveling.
The combination of ACRYSOL™ HASE and HEUR products provide the formulator the opportunity to develop optimized performance properties.
Product Highlight: ACRYSOL™ RM-995 Rheology Modifier
An APEO-free*, solvent-free*, hydrophobically modified ethylene oxide urethane (HEUR) rheology modifier that utilizes ACID SUPPRESSION™ technology. This mid-shear (KU) viscosity rheology modifier offers improved performance in viscosity stability upon tinting and excellent sag resistance while maintaining the key properties of HEUR technology. ACRYSOL™ RM-995 has applicability in both interior and exterior latex coatings. It is provided as a low-viscosity material for ease of use in the manufacturing process.

TAMOL™ Dispersants
DOW offers several different types of dispersants for waterborne coatings application: polyacid, hydrophilic copolymer, hydrophobic copolymer and polymeric dispersants. Dispersant choice depends on pigment type, dispersing efficiency, rheology modifier compatibility, ZnO compatibility, and dry film performance requirements for the formulation.
The TAMOL™ family of dispersants include both the polyacid and acrylic or polycarboxylate copolymer types.

ROPAQUE™ Opaque Polymers
ROPAQUE™ polymers are light-scattering pigments that offer partial replacement of higher cost titanium dioxide. These polymers can reduce paint’s environmental impact by reducing the carbon footprint of TiO2.
ROPAQUE ™ Ultra EF is an APEO-free synthetic hollow-sphere pigment offering increased light scattering with a lower odor profile than the ROPAQUE™ Ultra.
