Amphoteric surfactants are versatile – they can be selected to provide either high or low foam and to either thicken or reduce viscosity. They can also be chosen to provide hydrotroping, detergency or conditioning, along with biodegradability, corrosion inhibition, pH stability, and lower film & streak potential.
