Product Lines
Xanthan Gum
Stabilizer, thickener, suspending agent, and bodying agent.
Properties:
- High viscosity at low concentrations
- Minimal change in viscosity at varying temperatures
- Excellent stability over a wide pH range
- Freeze-thaw stability
- Suspension characteristics
- Offers a clear solution grade
Industries/Applications:
- Food: salad dressings, sauces, instant products, desserts, bakery, dairy products, fruit juices, and formation of various low-calorie foods
- Personal care/Pharma: toothpastes, lotions, shampoos, and tablets
- Industrial: cleaners, paints, ceramic glazes, inks, and oil drilling fluids
Gellan Gum (TayaGel® HA)
High acyl gellan gum is a bio-based, naturally occurring gelling, suspending, and stabilizing agent.
Properties:
- At very low concentration, exhibits high stabilizing and suspending properties with high pseudoplastic solutions
- Full hydration obtained by heating to 85°C – 95°C; upon cooling TayaGel® HA solutions will form soft, elastic, and flexible gels with low tendency to syneresis
- These gels do not show a thermal hysteresis (i.e., they set and melt at the same temperature between 70°C and 80°C)
Food Applications:
- Stabilizer in dairy (TayaGel® HA-D) and dairy alternative beverages
- Pulp stabilization in fruit drinks
Gelling in confectionary products, jams or fruit preparations, puddings, pie fillings, icings, or frostings
Lactic Acid and Lactic Acid Derivatives
Provides antibacterial, pH regulation, water holding, and flavoring properties
Applications:
- Food, beverages, personal care, healthcare, cleaners, feed and pet food, and chemical products
Properties:
- Mild acidity regulator, flavor enhancing, and antibacterial
